Dr. Rana started to seriously think about dentistry as a career after graduating from high school in India. He gained a lot of firsthand experience through regular childhood visits to the dentist’s office at his grandfather’s side, who struggled with oral health problems. He also understood the impact that a person’s teeth and smile can have on their confidence, and he wanted to help do that for others around him. Furthermore, through research, he learned how oral health problems could lead to other medical conditions throughout the body, such as heart and brain disease. To help spread awareness of this, he decided to pursue a career as a dentist and hasn’t looked back since.
Dr. Rana completed his dental doctorate at the prestigious New York University. Throughout his education, he mastered a wide variety of advanced dental procedures, including a periodontal honors program and extensive training in dental implants. To this day, he pursues continuing education courses on a routine basis to stay up-to-date with the latest research and technologies in the field. These have included Kois Education, Implant Pathway, Dick & Barnes Academy, and Invisalign Reingage.
Dr. Rana is a strong believer in the power of preventive dentistry and always advocates for minimally invasive care when possible. He also encourages patients to adopt good oral hygiene routines at home, which can make all the difference for their long-term oral health. Outside of work, Dr. Rana likes to watch movies, play sports, and spend quality time with his wife (who is a nurse practitioner) and their beautiful baby daughter. Other than traveling with his loved ones and playing cards with his friends, he’s also a huge football fan. Try guessing his favorite team for a surprise!
